Lake Vesuvius Campgrounds

Facilities include 24 camping units that will accommodate tents, trailers, truck campers, and motor homes; and 16 camping units that will accommodate tents only. Each unit has a table, fire ring, and tent pad. Sites 1-24 have electric hookups.

The fee for camping at a non-electric site is $12/night ($6 for Golden Age/Access passport holders)

Electric sites are $25/night ($9 for Golden Age/Access).

The campground is periodically patrolled by law enforcement officers.

Water hydrants and garbage containers are available. There are two modern restrooms with hot showers. There are no sewer hookups, but a dump station is available in the recreation area.

Campsites 3, 7, 16, the restrooms, and showers are fully accessible for the disabled.

Reservations

Campsites 1-18 may be reserved toll free through the National Recreation Reservation System (NRRS) at 1-877-444-6777, TDD    1-877-833-6777, or on the web site at www.ReserveUSA.com These campsites, and others in the campground are otherwise available on a first come first serve basis. NRRS charges an additional $10.00 service charge to make reservations.
